University of Galway Leadership Development Programme:

Duration: 8 days (5 core workshops & 3 elective workshops over 6 months)

Facilitator: LEAP

Course Content:

This programme aims to support middle to senior level staff e.g. Heads of School, Heads of Unit, Senior Managers (grade 5 upwards), and Principle Investigators, to effectively lead their people, schools, departments and projects. This programme is a joint collaboration between HR L&D and OVPEDI.

Topics include: 

• Being a Leader 
• Communicating as a Leader 
• Leading Others, 
• Managing Self 
• Leading Change 

Participants must also complete 3 elective workshops over a 6 month period.
